Welcome to AI Frontier Youth Camp

Lafayette Global Launchpad, in collaboration with select partners, invites young innovators, creative minds, and future leaders to explore the extraordinary world of Artificial Intelligence.

This immersive one-week virtual camp is designed for youth (ages 13 and up), providing foundational and advanced AI concepts in a dynamic, interactive, and supportive environment.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey with AI or already experimenting with technology, this summer camp will help you understand, create, and envision the future with AI.

Why teach ai to youth? 

• Safety: Young people need guidance on responsible AI use, protecting their data, and recognizing risks online.

• Ethics: Understanding how AI works is essential to making fair, thoughtful decisions for themselves and for their communities.

• Agency: Early AI education gives students the ability to create, question, and lead in their chosen fields.

• Preparedness: Whether they become engineers, artists, doctors, entrepreneurs, or pursue applied sciences, today’s students will engage with AI in every discipline.

• Community: This camp is focused on building a generation equipped to connect, support one another, and improve their communities through technology.

 AI is impacting every aspect of our lives, from the tools we use daily to the platforms influencing how we think, learn, and connect. Young people are growing up with technology that moves faster than most adults can follow. They deserve practical understanding and the chance to participate in building what comes next.

If youth lack a clear understanding of AI, they are left vulnerable. The reality is, most teachers in academia are well behind when it comes to AI, and students are not learning what they need to understand in their schools. This is the most urgent time for our youth to understand the AI frontier.

• Everyday AI: How AI is already impacting your life.
• Meet the AI Models: Understanding  generative AI, diffusion models and more.

day 3:AI in action & innovation showcase

• AI for Good: Solving challenges in our communities and world.

• Young Innovators: How to present your ideas with confidence.

• Innovation Showcase: Share your project, idea, or concept with the camp.
